Rectocele/Bladder Lift Surgery

I will be having a rectocele/bladder lift soon. I was sent to a Gyno-Urologist. My Gyno said this is the type of doctor who does these kinds of operations - Any of you ladies gone to a Gyno-Urologist for your surgeries? Thank you

    Yes, a urogyn is the type of doctor who is qualified to do these surgeries and the best one to assess and operate. You will get a lot of information on the APOPS site to help you prepare and recover from this surgery if you join.

    Hi Jane

    This is who you see when yiu need pelvic floor repair.

    Urogynacologist is the consultant who does these surgeries.

    I wouldn't let a normal gynCologist9 go near as they haven't had the extra trsining9 needed to fo these repairs

    I'm a test out from tvh and anterior repair. My back wall is playing up now so looks like I'll get that done at some point..good luck hunx
