Rectocele surgery recovery

I had rectocele surgery 2 weeks and a haemorrhoid ago since then Ive had numerous amount of piles develop some thrombosed so extremley sore but also have become infected. My gp has given me anti biotics in hope it clears but ive finsished my course and still have the infection. Im not overly concerned with this as im sure it will clear in time however im struggling to empty bowels and feel quite a big bulge in the vaginal area. Im worried ive had a prolapse? can anyone give me advice on this.

    hi

    you gave just had a repair for back wall prolapse which comes with a lot of swelling in vag area.

    not sure if yju have another prolapse, only your Urogynacologist can tell you that hun.

    usually a consultant for the colon usually does heamoroid removal so not too sure.

    what ever you do do not strain to poo,this can cause the repair to fail.

    any other questions I'd contact yiur surgeon who did yiur surgery.x

      Thank you I have an appointment in december to see the consultant so fingers crossed everything repairs before then. Appreciate you taking the time to comment
