Recurrent and persistent pneumonia

Hi!

I have been struggling with chest infections for about 2 years now.

I had a first mild bacterial pneumonia back in 2018, after that I kept getting mild chest infections here and there. Then I caught the COVID-19 back in March 2020, which lasted for 3 weeks, with severe cough, chest pain, breathlessness, fatigue, etc.

Then in November I caught another bacterial pneumonia, but the symptoms seemed so cyclic that my GP thought it could be something else. So I got antibiotics only this February after ending up at the hospital. Now after finishing my treatment, only a few weeks after, I caught another mild pneumonia and I am back with antibiotics. Also let's mention that I'm 25 years old and that I have always been pretty healthy. But now I constantly feel tired and out of breath.

Anyway, it seems to always be affecting the same part of my lung, which is the lower part to middle of my right lung. I have an appointment soon with a specialist, but I'd like to know if anyone has had the same issue. I do feel like COVID made things worse.

Thanks for any replies 😃
