Recurrent ear problems

I have recurring ear problems all my life. One time the room was spinning and I was sick for 3 days. Went to local same day centre and got something to stop sickness and amoxicillon. Cleared it up. Went in August last year to doctors and had bad earache, head pressure, feeling faint, tiredness, ear pressure doctor mentioned labrinatius. Took some amoxicillon that my friend had and it cleared up. This was after 3 weeks of trying tablets doctors gave me to help with my symptoms but did nothing. Ive had earache, pressure round head, ear pressure when had the heating on felt out of it like I was having a sugar low but I had just had food. Anyone else felt like this with ear trouble.

It sounds to me like you've got bppv that's never been correctly treated. You need to mention this to your ENT and have him doing Epley maneuver.

Have you seen an ENT? If not, I would. Most general doctors don't really deal with the underlining cause and only treat the symptoms. Some of what your describe does sound like BPPV but with the amount of pain you are feeling I'm wondering if there isn't more going on. Since you have already tried medication, full bloodwork and an SCAN or MRI would be a good next step. But definitely see an ENT specialist. Good luck!
