Recurrent shingles after Shingrix vaccine

I had shingles 3 years ago. On the right side of the inside of my mouth, throat, and ear. It started with severe fatigue, followed by a very sore tongue and itchy ear, then moved to my palate and throat. I was the sickest I've ever been and I'm a breast cancer survivor who endured 6 rounds of chemo. I got the Shingrix vaccine as soon as I was able to.

This past year, I have experienced the itchy ear, slight mouth soreness, fatigue, and pain on the right side of my body that moves around from my upper chest to my hip. I've wondered if this is that nasty shingles monster trying to resurrect itself. Has anyone else had shingles flare up again after taking the Shingrix vaccine? I brought this up while at a doctor appointment a couple of months ago and he insisted it was PHN.

I might add that while sick I had a horrid taste in my mouth that never completely went away, and it returned with all of the weird pain this year. Also, still have a constant tickle in my throat, which causes me to choke and sneeze at least once/week, usually when eating or drinking, which is lovely.

There is a product that I heard of on the radio called shinglease ,that starts working on the pain and itching immediately. you might want to try and get it. It is from a company named Nature's Silver Lining.
