I have had Bartholing Cyst sergury last month and I think it has returned. There is a hard lump where the Cyst was, it hurts to sit and I can feel it sometimes when I walk. I can feel it when I lie on my side in bed, I can feel it when I wipe myself (sorry tmi) this would be the 3rd time I have had this. I am seeing my GP this afternoon. Not sure what he can do though. Has anyone had recurring Cysts? I want to get rid of it for good.

Hi kirstynz,
I actually got the bartholin gland removal. They remove the whole gland for good. Nothing else worked, but after this procedure I'm cyst free. No problem. I recommend it.

I had a recurring cyst since 2011, 18 minor drainings and one major surgery Dec 2015. It hasn't become abscessed again, but I can still feel it and I worry all the time that it will return. It isn't painful most times, except around my period it becomes more inflamed. I also can't get wet anymore now that the gland is removed and even pleasing myself is painful.

I know it is really terrible to hv bartholine cyst. I had recurring cyst even after marcupilization. I tried several remedies but unfortunately it came back. Then my mom asked me to apply oil and termeric on my cyst to drain it naturely. I took almost 5 table spoons of oil and put half a tea spoon of termeric in it, heated the oil then dipped a cotton pad in it. Waited for few minutes to make sure it gets Luke warm n applied it on my cyst for night. It drained the cyst naturally. The I used triple sulpha cream along with ciprofloxacin (antibiotic )for 6 days. Used homeopathic medicine "celicia 30" drops (5 drops thrice a day in small amount of water). It worked well and now I am at peace. It is not bothering me any more. You can also try these remedies to get rid of bartholine cysts and abscesses.

I will keep this in mind. I can feel a small cyst there but it is not inflamed or hurting so I don't want to irritate it. It could be scar tissue to from all the minor drainings so I'm unsure. Thank you for sharing!
