Recurring Infection

Hi. Ive been having this infection recurringly this past year.

Its yellowish discharge. Burning sensation. foul smelling (last time, not currently)

Ive taken doctor prescribed medication before that helps for a month or two.

I have a steady partner. We dont use condoms.

I travel a lot of work and spend most of my time living in hotels (exposed to different sourced of water.

Any ideas what it could be and why it keeps coming back?
