Recurring Peri-anal abscess linked to sinus on right buttock?

ad a drainage operation for a peri-anal abscess 1 inch below and to the right of anus September 2017.

Since then Every 4-8 weeks the area swells, scar tissue warps, fluid comes out over space of a week or 2 and swelling goes down.

6 months before operation for abscess, was diagnosed with a sinus on right buttock that was a huge swelling and boil on and off for 2 years.

I thought the Sinus was linked to the abscess so told specialist when I saw him, told unlikely, sent for MRI scan and confirmed sinus is linked to Abscess.

Recently see specialist again, he says it's not the Sinus, when asked for a reason why he doesn't think they are linked he will not answer my question =(

So hoping some awesome person will try to help from here =)
