Red blisters after unprotected oral

Posted , 2 users are following.

Hi

I received unprotected oral from a sex worker about 7 days ago. Since then I have been feeling burning sensation around penis head. There is no discharge and no burning with urination. However today I spoted red blisters on one side of the penis head. They are not painful to tounch and I do not feel any fever or flu like symptoms.

Could it be that I contracted herpes. Or what other possible STIs can cause this?

Thanks!

Hi John,  We all do things that we regret at a later point.  Why don't you assume the worst (knowing that it probably isn't the worst) and get checked out by a health care professional.  Otherwise, the possibility that you might have herpes will lerk in the background of your brain.  But, if it herpes in an early stage maybe you can get treatment in order to prevent it from spreading to someone else.

I speak from experience.  In my case it wasn't what my reactionary brain thought it was.  I lived with the horror for 6 months only to realize that the fix (to my situation after seeking medical attention) was only an over the counter medication that cleared up the situation in a short time.

So, get checked out and get this off you mind.  I'm sure you have other things that warrant your full attention.

Let us know your progress.   Best of luck.  DL

Thanks Dave. I am getting it checked next week.

In the meanwhile I considered seeking opinion from the forum to understand the possibilities.

It does look a bit similar to what I see on myself but it kinda looks like it doesnt. Hard to tell but best advice would be to get checked.
