No pain or discharge from the nipple....but still red after such a long time. Initially scratched by dog playing. Did not worry as almost 70 and a friend had similar, and the nipple never reversed to its normal appearances after 10 years. Has anybody else noticed this please after a small injury...

Are you diabetic? I am and have noticed that even after the smallest scratch or scrape heals there's a very noticeable "scar". Did the scratch bleed after the original injury?

No not diabetic, and no did not bleed, and nothing since....My original thought was as it is a sensitive area that was the reason.....at the time there were two scratches, one in between both breasts the dog managed to scratch, that eventually disappeared.
