Hi all,

For the past three or so months I have noticed a small single red bump/blister form on the head of my penis. The bump itself often disappears and reappears after have sex or masturbation (but not every single time). It's also important to note that the bump itself doesn't hurt or itch, and as far as I'm aware, I dont have any other symptoms that would suggest an sti/std.

I am uncircumcised, and have put in the effort to keep my gland clean.

Is this a case of balanitis?

thanks for your time

Unfortunately things like this occur quite regularly for those who are sexually active or masturbate - there is no particular explanation for this, it sounds like you are doing all the right things

hi Dugie, thanks for the reply. I was warned that my body will start doing strange things as I venture further into my 20s. ..

I've been doing a mixture of tea tree oil and olive oil and that seems to have helped quite abit. I've also ordered anti fungal cream just in case.

If you are not currently sexually active I would not use an antifungal

With the Tea Tree Oil you need to ensure it is correctly diluted with the carrier oil / olive oil otherwise that could cause penile skin problems ....

I've been diluting 12 drops olive oil to 1 drop tea tree oil. It does wonders, but I have gotten some anti fungal cream.

So can you define: are you using the mix as a form of medication for the skin or simply to hydrate it?

Long-term I would be moving to something like Liquid Coconut Oil
