Red bump on Penile Shaft
Posted , 2 users are following.
Noticed this red bump on my penile shaft about 2 weeks ago or so.
It appeared out of nowhere, and more or less remained the same, if not grew ever so slightly larger.
It's painless, and when I pinch it gently, I feel there is some moveable debris in the bump (that is disconnected from the penis).
The last time I had unprotected sex was mid-2020. Almost 2 years ago.
Apart from that, the last time I masturbated was approximately a month ago.
Any help on what it is would be greatly appreciated.

Hey John Doe.
I'm suffering from the very same issue as you are, and I too have that same bump on the shaft of my penis, but it's more on the front rather than the side and a lot smaller than your's in comparison (I even posted about it here in the discussions but for some reason, it's been two days and it STILL hasn't been approved, but whatever).
Anyways from what I can tell, masturbation and your sexual activity doesn't have anything to do with this bump as in my case at least, I haven't really been sexually active for over three years now, and even then, there was no intercourse, and I don't masturbate. I've tried looking it up, because so far I got no help here, and from what I can gather, if we're lucky, we both probably just have a Fordyce spot - which is a harmless skin condition that can happen randomly to any dude. The condition isn't dangerous or contagious and is more of a visual change in appearance at most which can be worrying to many guys, such as ourselves.
I'll let you know more if I get a response from my own post. Hope this helped, brother.

Hey man, appreciate the very genuine response.
Have also tried looking it up, and it's very much so aligned with what you've found - it's either a fordyce spot, or perhaps a cyst.
Will also keep you posted if I find out anything more. Thanks for the response, brother.

Happy to help man. Chances are if we're lucky, it isn't anything too serious to worry about, if it isn't causing us any sort of discomfort or pain.
