Red bumps on penis possible yeast infection

A few months ago, i started having a rash on my penis that came with a bit of smell as well...

This wasn't long after my partner had thrush, so naturally i assumed my problem was also thrush.

First i tried to use Canesten , which helped a bit for a while, but soon after i stopped taking it came back.

I then figured, well if it reacted to Canesten it's quite probably an yeast infection that Canesten isn't strong enough to clear, so i got myself Fluconazole.

Toke 150 mg, every 3 days, 3 times (as per recommended).

The issue seemed to be fixed, but again a week or so after, it came back. Because it seemed to be respond to anti-fungal treatment, i figured, maybe is just a resistant strain that's taking a while to clear.

So I've now been taking Fluconazole 150mg every 3 days for the past 2 weeks. In a couple a days i got an improvement, but then it stagnated, it seems to keep it "in check" and preventing it from getting worse, but doesn't clear it completely.

It doesn't itch, it doesn't smell particularly strong, but it does have a bit of smell, it also seems to make my skin peel a bit on the glans and makes it look really dry as well (hard to see in the picture bellow). Doesn't burn, don't have any kind of difficult peeing, doesn't hurt during sex.

During this time, when it appears to be better, i have had sex with my partner, obviously aware that this could be transmissible but she was okay with it, we've been together for more than a year and don't have sex with anyone else.

She doesn't show any kind of symptoms of thrush. So it doesn't seem to pass to her, she doesn't think it smells any different than a "regular penis", but i disagree on that.

It's mid covid lockdown, so any kind of appointments are hard to get, so I've tried the most obvious over the counter options.

Whatever it is, it seems to dial down with anti-fungals but doesn't seem to go away completely...

I wash my penis with water only, i haven't been using any different kind of clothes that could cause irritation, I can't come up with any logical reason for this.

I'm running out of ideas, would appreciate some help here 😃

It looks exactly the same as another post in here: https://patient.info/forums/discuss/penile-rash-balanitis-not-responding-to-treatment-683412

if it responding to fungal medication then you should apply miconazole/antifungal cream for about 4-6 weeks.

That will get rid of it completely.
