Red circle dot on finger wont heal, has been 1 year.

Im a gamer and Due to holding my controller a lot i had a random red circle appear on my index finger (almost the same as a pimple) this was about one year ago. I decided to go to the doctor and she suggested to burn it or laser it (im not exactly sure what she did) its been 1 year and i guess the skin looks dead to me. I wonder if this will permantely be like this or will it ever recover fully. Any information would help so much! Thank you.imageimageimage
