Red patches on skin

imageI'm in my early 20's and for few years now I've had red patches on my lower legs and i have no clue what it is or how to go about treating it. A few years ago my doctor told me it looked like ring worm and I used ring worm medicine but it did not work. I don't think it is ring worm because its bot exactly like photos I've seen. the patches are small and are made up of little red spots. They don't itch and seem to be flat. The most similar photos I've found are of Petechiae. I don't know what would be causing it though because I don't have other symptoms. please let me know what you think it could be and how I should go about treating it at home. I don't have insurance and can not go to a doctor right now. image
