Red patches under armpit and breasts

Am posting this for a friend. She has these red patches appearing on her skin below and around both armpits and under her breasts (see images)... they are not painful or itchy at all, nor are they bumping... she's had them now for perhaps a year and a half or so. It started happening while she experiences a form of chronicle burping and flatulence, not sure if they are related. She doesn't have the burping as much anymore, but still has these patches.

Any idea what this might be?

    They are probably caused by sweating and they have the name intertrigo. Damp warm places can also attract yeast infections,which can cause these patches to appear.  She must keep the area clean and as dry as possible. Cotton inserts in her bra may be useful. A fungal cream may be helpful...ask your pharmacist

    She could try using a mild anti dandruff hair shampoo on the patches. Leave on for a minute and then thoroughly wash off. Stop using if it makes the patches worse

    Hey guys, thanks a lot for the helpful responses, really appreciate it. I had done some research and suspected it was perhaps intertrigo.
