Red penis for two years(pics)

Posted , 8 users are following.

i know there has been many threads about the same issue i thought i would share my story to see what everybody else thinks , my issue started 2 years ago after two weeks of unprotected sex i started feeling itchy then pumps started showing on the glans without any pain then redness expanded to the shaft and discharge afterwards , after testing all stds were negative so i was told it has to be a yeast infection however after treatment the redness never cleared completely till now , i wonder if there is something i still have or its just takes a lot of time for the penis to heal back , any thoughts on this?

note: the itching was only on the third picture part with 3 new ppp bumps showed at the same time which makes me wondering

similar look to mine when erect, although mine is probably less bumpy.

Really have idea where to go with it. I'm only 4 months in but feel lost and like there is no hope as read alot of information and following forums and nobody has an idea even though there are loads of us out there.

Some days i think im on my way to beating it but then it just gets bad. i have a few other symptoms like a frequent need to pee or sometimes itchy scrotum.

Tried a few things but no joy. Got a drs appointment on wednesday so will see if i can get any input but no hope after past referrals.

Keep me in the loop if any progress.

Just been to the Gum clinic and Apparently i have nothing to worry about, retesting for standard things and now MG a d trich.

obviously my symptoms had subsided when they saw me, showed pics of how it gets when erect and other symptoms and absolute zero interest from them. Suggest soap and i said no chance.

Will wait for the results and then book in to my GP and see if i can get referred somewhere. No idea where or who i could go too?

I feel like some redness is normal though, especially when erect with lighter skin Caucasians? Look up adult videos, and some of the glans get very red cause of all the blood flow into the area.

The issue for me is more of the dryness when erect and it's only a patch on top of the glans? Do you guys have similar dryness? Or it's only redness?

Also @wes14334 you mentioned in another thread something about herpes? I've also heard this before on another forum , where this was apparently a diagnosis given by some kind of neurologist/ STD expert. The theory is that the HS virus lies dormant in the dorsal nerve of the penis causing an inflammatory response, more so with stimulation and blood flow. As herpes doesn't always manifest with lesions. Unfortunately, if that's the case, there would be no cure (unless a herpes cure is developed). Not sure if that theory is accurate, maybe it is just some kind of skin infection/autoimmune disease (like eczema/psoriasis), but would be interesting to try an antiviral medication like valacyclovir to see if there's some improvement.

yep agreed redness is part and parcel of an erect penis but its slightly bumpy and was never like this before so has been triggered by receiving oral sex.

I cant rule herpes out but i have seen and spoken to at least 5 GUM doctors who said it is not herpes. It is hard to test for without sores so they dont seem to want to do it. Have you got a link to the thread?

So many conflicting reviews, so not sire where to go with it.
