Red, raised & indented skin on foot

In February, I noticed something on my foot I wasn't happy with (raised, red bit of skin on the top of my foot). It wasn't painful but felt uncomfortable/mildly painful if I kneel or put pressure on it. I went to the doctors in May who said it was an infected abscess. However, antibiotics never helped. Since then it’s looked different sometimes (sometimes it’s more raised, sometimes more indented & occasionally a bit scabby). The doctors have also ruled out a ganglion cyst. I’ve got a doctors appointment booked but I wanted an idea of what I’m looking at so I don’t go in there blind. Thanks 😃
