I have heard of heat rash or prickly heat but I don't get bumps. Instead in the photos you can see that it's like a red rash that appears in random locations over my whole body mainly my face and neck. It may not look bad but the feeling I get from this is unbearable. I get a super intense itchy and prickly feeling. The only way to make it go away is to stick my head in the freezer. I saw my doctor and she told me to just try not to get hot which is obvious but I'm highly active. It literally appears and starts flaring up whether I'm exercising, working, taking a hot shower for too long, and just in a generally hotter environment. I can't stand this it's stopping me from doing a lot of things and I don't know what can help it.

hi Xavier - i would suggest to you to go to your dermatologist & have them do a chemical sensitivity panel on you. You may be allergic to chemicals in your body wash/soap, shampoo, Conditioner & laundry detergent. it is best to use a "clear" laundry detergent anyway. Unfortunately, rashes are tough to figure out...it could be something your skin is coming in contact with or something you are ingesting (also important to be tested for food sensitivies & environmental like pollen, trees, mold, animal dander etc.) Has anything changed lately? like new vitamins? Protein powder? New laundry detergent etc - Its a process of elimination, but also important to get tested - Are you under a lot of stress? Stress can also cause rashes, but my guess its either chemical or something new you are eating - Have you taken a Benedryl? if not, you may try that & see if it calms the rash down - just be careful, Bendryl makes some people sleepy - good luck -

I used to get this if I went outside when it was very hot or very cold. Look up cholinergic urticaria. I first had this when I was 17 and I grew out of it a few years later. I took anti histamine tablets but they stopped working so well after a while. Hopefully you will grow out of it too. The only thing I can really suggest is to see a dermatologist.
