Red skin/foreskin on penis

Hello,

The skin on my penis (which I believe to be the foreskin area) has been red for about 3 weeks. I don't have any other symptoms. It's just red. It doesn't sting or feel like burning. I've had similar conditions in the past which usually clear up within 2 to 3 days, unlike this time.

Recently, I had this condition and it lasted for about 3 to 5 days, clearing up on it's own. One week after it cleared up I had sex for the first time, during which I had both protected and unprotected sex. The other person has no symptoms and was previously tested. The next day I noticed my skin was more red than usual, again.

I think the chance of an STD/STI is low since it appeared so quickly after, and my partner has a clean history. The possibilities that I can think of are:

-from not being used to the act or (maybe) pushing it a bit hard?

-from the more frequent cleaning during that weekend?

-from the condom/lube which could have caused allergy (and it was my first time using any at all)?

-from reacting to some sort of natural bacteria from my partner, despite the fact that I washed properly after every act?

It is now ongoing for approximately 3 weeks. Some days it appears more red than others. Tried both warm water and cold water rinsing and it doesn't seem to alleviate. In fact, I think it does become more red with cold water. I tried washing with my usual amount of shower gel, as well as just rinsing with water, both seem to have no different result.

I also noticed the little thing (I'm sorry, I don't know the name) behind the penis that stretches when pulling down on the foreskin is a bit red as well. Pictures attached.

I need some help to possibly find what it is and how to proceed, and currently it is really hard to get an appointment with my region's health care centre due to the Covid outbreak.

Thanks for the help and I apologise for my bad English as it isn't my native language. Feel free to ask anything

Edit: rephrasing to improve readability, and adding another possibility of what could have caused this

Your english is really good. So, can I ask a silly question: do you want your penis to improve?

If yes - YOU MUST STOP ALL CONTACT with soap, shower gel and any other forms of body wash.

Your penile skin has got into a cycle of having things applied to it - so, sometimes these things are applied more often than others, and these are adding together to undermine the health of your penile skin, particularly on your foreskin as evidenced in photo one.

As I say, you MUSt help your penile skin begin the long process of recovery, and I am talking about way in excess of 5, 7 or even 9 months.

The basic equation is that the more that is in contact with your penile skin, other than water, the worse the health of your foreskin, in particular will be.

If there is anything you would like me to clarify with me or ask further questions on simply hot the Reply button .....

Thank you very much for your input, any help I can get is greatly appreciated so, again, thank you.

That makes a lot of sense indeed! As I hinted in the main post, I had this weekend with my partner that had me washing more often due to concern with having the cleanest intimate contact (as well as just being hygienic after the contact). Because of that, I had more shower gel applied than what was previously normal, and the redness appeared the very next day, so, rather than an allergy as I was previously thinking, the fact that the shower gel could have simply harmed my (naturally delicate) foreskin's health seems like a very clear answer.

I will consider this and just rinse with warm water and not apply any shower gel/body wash to the area.

Is there however any other type of wash I can safely apply to this delicate area, in order thoroughly clean after intimate contact?

      Once again, thank you!

Only safe wash is water - everything else is an unpredictable risk ....
