    Better get it checked.

It is minor skin issue, could be psoriasis or eczema.

I will but it's on the 14.01.2019, I just want to know if it's something contagious.

Could it be something else, I don't have silvery-white scales that feel rough. Or i don't have them because it's always moist ?

      Thank you

Try to keep it dry and don't apply soap

Apply a little pure coconut oil for the time being.

      is it itchy?

i will try the coconut, no it's not itchy. It's ...just there no other simptoms.

Hi Andreis, Lostknight has covered the essentials - do you ever notice anything making the symptoms seem worse than they usually are .... ?

Nothing, i don't feel or see anything from besides a red spot. The only thing changing is color variation : when penis not erect the spot is a pale red, when penis is erect the spot gets bright red. The picture was taken after a shower.

We have the same thing maybe, is it on the tip of the penis and only a pea size. When you masturbate too much it gets red but if you leave it alone for days it becomes more brownish of red. I believe this isn't something that can be cured nor treated. It seems to be a scar and that the skin is dis-colored permanently. I have had this since I was 11 years old and it won't go away. Tried over 15 creams and never ever helped. Only thing that made the place less red was cut my masturbation to once weekly and keep the area clean all the time.

Try to do this test to your penis.

Touch the red patch and then touch the normal part of your penis head, compare the feeling and see which one feels more sensitive to the touch. If the red patch feels more sensitive then that means the top layer of your penis head is permanently gone at that place. Sadly since it isn't a bacteria nor it isn't a virus, there is nothing that can be done.

Mine came from rubbing my penis on hard mattress when I was young. We don't have technology to repair damaged penis heads, nobody is investing in that.

i have the same issue, that rash doesn't itch or burn & it is there since 3 months now.

which steroid cream was suggested by your doctor?

it's a steroid cream that you need the doctor to prescribe called Trimovate Cream.

First two weeks add cream to the spot 2 times a week, after one time a day until it disappears.

i would like to note that the spot never completely disappears. The doctor says it's not something to worry about.

I visited urologist 5 days ago

he gave me "clobetasol propionate + clotrimazole + neomycin sulphate cream"

I think its same as Trimovate Cream from its content.

but my doctor told me to use it twice a day for 7-8 days. I'm using it from few days, so far there is very very minor change or u can say no change at all.

Did u see any changes in rash for first 10 days of using Trimovate cream?

if not, after how many days it started going away?

He told me to use the Trimovate Cream twice a day for two weeks and one a day for another two weeks and then go to a check again,

The rash starts to fade out after two weeks, after a month of using that the rash just faded out but it's not 100 % gone. After the 4 week visit, the doctor told me to do it for another two weeks once a day and that's it.

Now i can see it like coming back but not that obvious like before.

      Okay,

So far I used the cream for 7 days. I see a little change in my rash.

I'll go to the doctor again tomorrow and I'll ask him if I should continue using it or not.
