Red spots on shaft

Posted , 5 users are following.

Hi. For a few months I've had these small red spots on the shaft of my penis. They are smooth, and painless. They are really only visible when flaccid. They seem to be slowly spreading. I have been in a monogamous relationship for five years, due to distance we havent had sex for the past 9 months. Thanks for any help.image

What age are you? Are you circumcised?

If these have never burst open they are most likely to be something that is naturally developing - they do not look as they normally would, i think, because of the damage that was caused to the area due to your circumcision.

If you had different partners and had unprotected penetrative, or received oral sex with such partners, I would be suggesting to you to get STD / STI tested anyway to be completely sure

They have never changed shape or burst, anything like that. Could these be fordyce spots?

If you do not have Fordyce anywhere else on the shaft of your penis it may be unusual that these are limited to where your circumcision took place.

I think you are going to need to get a medical professional opinion from either a sexual health specialist or a urologist if you want to make sure

I believe I have the same issue. What did your dermatologist recommend you do? Mine gave me podofilox solution but that has only made it worse by scarring the area. Please let me know.
