Red zone / rash urethral duct

Hi!

I have been struggling with unclear symptoms and visited 3 urologist and 1 dermatologist. I have done many tests for STD´s have take Azithromycin , Metronidazole, Ciprofloxacin without yet an accurate indication of what is it. Doctors differ on what to do, but mainly my discomfort is itching and burning. Sometimes (hours) goes but it comes back. I had sexual partner more than 1 month ago and the redness started 5 days ago and didn´t test till today from herpes. Does someone has had something similar ? Thanks

      Hi Rockyboi007,

I haven´t find a solution. I am already assuming I will live with it. Since it comes and goes and there is no infection it must be an inflammatory or psychological issue. Even could a mixed thing. I have had some kidney stones in this 5 last years and my urologists says that there is always to keep in mid in my case.

      Good luck for you!

    Hi Traicos!

Hope you are doing fine. In my case the pain comes and goes as waves every 2 months or so after sex or manipulation of the area. In the beginning I suspected a serious condition and that's why I keep consulting different doctors, doing more exams, etc. Till now I don't have a precise condition name, I am quite sure I don't have life threatening illness. Precisely now I am in a bad moment. I hope it goes soon.

    Best regards!

so we all experience this red patch in our urethra, and the reason we even found out about is that we experience other symptoms while having negative tests so of course we took a look inside and panic. All our docs has said that it probably looks normal. Maybe this is just how the urethra looks like guys. take a look at the skin in the back of your throat. I see the exact same there although it is less in the penis. Maybe this just normal tissue and has nothing to do with the symptoms. . Our pain could be caused by male CPPS also called chronic prostatitis.

I experience occasional burning at the tip of my penis and looked inside and also saw these red patches. I panicked and saw all kind of crazy things on the internet trying to figure if this is just normal. I found some before/after pics in papers of dermatology that shows treatment of condylyma in the urethra. The healed after pics also showed some kind of redness in the urethra without the writers describing it as a thing. Having read your urologists evaluation i guess the patches are normal and maybe something we should have never tried to look at.

I dont know - what do you think?

I have the exact some issue everyone here has and I never thought to look in my urethra until the symptoms starts. My urologist says it looks normal and treating me for prostatitis but to me I am panicking because I think it should be red with those blisters looking thing but I’ve never seen another urethra but mines. I’ve been deal with this for about 2 months and it’s VERY depressing so if anyone find some answers let me know

hello everyone, i had all the same symptoms as well, got checked for everything, it was all negative. I found out what it is. this is EBV or CMV infection in your penis. got mine from oral, the girl I was messing with had MONO EBV everything was fine until the oral, her MONO was Dormant but got reactivated, and she got sick, mono doesn't just affect the throat Dr's are finding out it can affect your gentiles as well. there isn't a cure but having a healthy life style can boost your immune system and thus helping your symptoms, monolaurin vitamins help alot. this virus is tricky but the trick is to get it dormant. best of luck to guys, and keep posting updates.

Hey, how do you know its EBV or CMV? For reference about 6 months ago I had unprotected oral sex and noticed a instant burn in my penis right after it and I've still got it today. Burning at rest and whilst peeing/ejaculating also looks very red and weird inside the urethra. My eyes also became inflamed and sore 1-2 weeks after and are still the same today constantly. Had azithromycin that didn't help, considering doxycycline +metronidazole although it might be viral? Also Tested negative for all basic STIs so been referred to a urologist but I'm from UK and waiting time is horrendous so might just go private and get a flexible cytoscopy including any biopsy but I'm a student and it costs £2k, would this show CMV/EBV? Bro I'm just so desperate for help my life has got considerably worse just want my life back
