Redness and itchiness

Posted , 2 users are following.

I've had protected sex, nearly 3 months ago, and still suffer from symptoms such as redness and itchiness of penis. no bacteria was found at that moment, neither in urethra or urine. What would you recommend me to do, to sanitize this??

Also, my penis is overly sensitive, can't masturbate for longer than 1 minute.

If the problem is purely on the surface of your skin, and most likely it is, then you have a severe irritation issue going on.

What you need to think about is everything that is in regular contact with your skin.

Can I just check, did you receive oral without a condom?

In terms of the skin now, think of EVERYTHING that is in regular contact with it: soap, shower gel, body wash of any kind including hair shampoo getting onto your penis in the shower. Lubes, skin creams, baby oil and suchlike for masturbation and so on ..... ?

Unfortunately, even washing powder products can further irritate the skin of your penis when it is like this - and this is obviously via contact with underclothes and any sports shorts you may wear. The condom could have created the 'tipping-point' for this to become the issue you have now, but obviously the likely cause of the issue is years of contact with things such as soap, shower gel and so on.

Try to aim for water being the ONLY thing that touches the head of your penis. Always at least use a paper tissue to remove ANY remnants of urine from around the head area of your penis, or wash and dry when you can. Draw the foreskin fully back prior to urinating to minimise contact with the surrounding skin.

If you let me know what you have been regularly putting onto your penis? How long has your penis been sensitive in the way that it is now? and do you usually or always use a lube of some kind for masturbation.

Like I said, it started once I had sex with that girl, I purely doubt that irritation of some kind could cause this. Along that, I don't use lube for masturbation, it has been more sensitive since those events occurred. What does your theory of "tipping-point" mean for me?

      PS thanks for answering

What your penis has developed is an intolerance to the things it is in contact with, most of these things are likely to be the likes of soaps and shower gel, or other similar exposure - or they could be occasional exposure, such as the chemicals on the inside of condoms, or exposure to fungal or bacterial infections during sexual activity. Or you could have a mixture of both regular and occasional exposure adding together to create this.

There is a simple equation: the skin on the head of your penis is currently intolerant, I have tried to talk about the most typical kinds of things that could be causing this intolerance = remove the source(s) of intolerance and your penis head will recover.

What I have had on here for over a year is Men with issues like yours and neither Doctors, Urologists or Dermatologists will explain successfully how to deal with these issues, I have successfully dealt with far worse issues that this, I am merely trying to share what has worked for me, and the reasons why this has occurred in the first place .......

I never used shampoo on in once the redness showed up, but it hasn't cleared up since. I don't know what else I could remove, I have changed clothes detergent, no improvement. I am thankful for your comments, but I doubt that these could affect me in some kind. Last, but not least, I haven't had sex since that event, meaning I haven't used any kind of latex.

Go see a Dermatologist and get it professionally checked out, see what they make of it .......

Forgot to explain, you will not get an instant change, if you happen upon removing what is causing the irritation all you will initially get is the symptoms are unlikely to worsen.

It is consistent non-exposure to the things that have caused this in the first place that will remedy this for you - real change can take anywhere between 2, 6 months or even more ....
