Redness and itchiness in the groin area. Help!

I used to get ringworm on the body and got it treated with grapefruit seed extract. But recently, I started to experience red, scaly rashes and intense itching in my groin. These symptoms become so severe that they disturb my sleep and urge me to scratch the area at night. I think it could be a recurrent ringworm infection which happens in the groin area. Any remedies to get rid of it?
