redness and pain near vaginal opening, undiagnosed, help please!

I have red raw areas on my vestibule and have no clue what is causing it, anyone have suggestions on what I can bring up to my gynecologist? Could it be vulvodynia? Sorry this is long:

I have had this pain for about 1.5 months since the end of April. Noticed it first midway through masturbating and the few days after were the most sore. I wasn't rough at all, but I thought it might've been some kind of trauma at first. There's these reddened areas just outside the vaginal opening at around 7 & 5 o' clock that feel raw and painful only when physically touched. The bottom of my urethra also looks a little inflamed with these red dotted areas. My PCP didn't see anything abnormal, but she took a swab inside the vagina (although the pain is only outside on the vestibule) for a culture and said everything came back normal - I don't actually know what they specifically tested for, but I assume it's just the routine stuff (yeast, BV, etc.). I took one dose of 150mg fluconazole because I had a very very small amount of "abnormal" discharge (smelled sweet and was kind of tacky), but the pain stayed the same and the discharge resolved within 2 days.

I saw a gynecologist a week ago who immediately pointed out the reddened inflamed areas. She said it could be that my vestibular glands were irritated or had a mild infection and that the bottom of my urethra could've been a potential wound that was trying to heal. She prescribed me clindamycin, I applied it on the vestibule 2x day for 7 days. I didn't notice any change after the treatment so I called today and she suggested doing a sitz bath for 3 days and applying vagisil for any irritation (might just skip the vagisil because I don't really notice the pain unless I'm actually touching the area, plus I've read that vagisil could worsen the area so that scares me 😦 ) Has anyone here found relief with a sitz bath and what did you put in it? If this doesn't help she can give me an oral antibiotic..but at this point I'm not even sure the cause is infectious and I'm very wary of taking unnecessary antibiotics.

If it's not infectious, the only other thing I can think to ask about is if its hormonal. I've always had irregular periods and recently have been spotting for almost 3 weeks, but I usually dismiss it and chalk it up to my being underweight. Is there anything else I'm missing that I should ask my gynecologist about? The idea that this is something that I'll be unable to heal from really scares me so any advice is appreciated!

FYI I'm 25 this year, I've never been sexually active and have never taken birth control either so STDs are ruled out. I take a daily women's probiotic and multivitamin because I had recurrent utis last year and low Vitamin D, but haven't had one in over half a year.

If you've read through all of this, thank you so much for your time!!
