Are you currently sexually active - doing penetrative sex or receiving oral, or perhaps in the last 4 to 8 months or so?

When you say urine travelling through gives light pain: do you mean the main sensation of pain occurs after you have ejaculated following masturbation, or is the sensation of pain there throughout the day as well ..... ?

If you do not reply, try to take a masturbation holiday - 3 weeks for starters, 3 to 4 months would be even better !

Sexually not active. Sensation of pain is most of the time. After ejaculation it is definitely there during urinating.

You have two entirely separate issues:

      i. ) you have a penile skin issue - two essentials:-

      • what is in regular contact with your penile skin: soaps, shower gel, skin creams / lotions / moisturisers / lubes - that kind of stuff? - list them if necessary
      • exclude ALL of these and wash with water only - see my guide below for further details ....

ii, ) you have a sensation of pain, the majority of these are referred to as urinary tract infections (UTI's) - you need to ensure you are drinking plenty of fluids, particularly water, limit the amount of caffeinated coffee you are drinking.

If the sensation of pain does not subside after you drink regular fluids for 8 to 12 days you may need a medication to deal with the infection.

For a small number of men the infection can be due to whatever is applied to the penis, a skin cream or lube for example getting inside the urethra - again, stop applying anything to your penis - the sensation of pain will eventually fade, potentially if you have a severe situation you may need to see a Urologist.

Dealing with Dry Glans & Penile Skin

        .

So, the essential is not to directly apply soap and other forms of body wash to your penis. If you are not circumcised, draw your foreskin as far forward as possible before you get in the shower to protect the glans / head and inner-foreskin.

Wash everywhere else on your body and fully rinse, expose the head of your penis and wash with the running shower water only and rub the head and inner-foreskin with the inside of the hand and fingertips to clean.

Just as important is drying penile skin - no moisture should remain, use a clean dry towel that ONLY you use.

There are two plant-extract products that can help with dry penile skin: SHEA butter and Liquid Coconut Oil. You only need a very light coating of either of these, apply after you have taken a shower, or every other day ....

You probably have Urinary tract infection that's why you have pain during passing urine.

That UTI also has caused balanitis n your glans gets affected because of it.

Visit a urologist n do urine test.
