i am having redness on penis glans.. sometimes it gets irritated and sometimes there is discomfort..

i was applying hydrocortisone for 3 days then switched to anti fungal creams...

there is no itchiness or burning sensation..

my dermatologist suggested me to forget this redness and told me that i am absolutely fine..

he suggested me to wash my glans of penis once in two days that to with simple plain water...

please suggest me what to do...

is this actual problem or my misconception..

As long as there is no persistent itchiness, pain, swelling, bleeding or scarring, you shouldn't be worried about it. Just relax, your dermatologist is right.

    Hi

As posted below, your glans just looks a bit sore, might be due to the creams you are putting on it. The skin on your glans is very thin and should only be cleaned with warm water and no soap. Keep up with this and the inflammation will eventually subside

These pictures look literally IDENTICAL to my glans (the shape and extension of the rash)

I have had it for about 14 months now - following an episode of oral sex - and nothing has changed, I tried oils, creams, antibiotics but it's still there.

    Tested for STDs, everything negative.

The rash has slightly gotten better over time but it hasn't gone away completely.

This is very similar to mine too. My doctors said the same thing - Can't see a problem, don't worry about it. They're probably right. You could be getting phantom sensations because you're fixated on the area, mentally. I know that happens to me every now and then.

You could try Vaseline jelly. it worked wonders for me because I had a problem with dryness.
