Redness under the foreskin close to the frenulum

Hello,

I've had this issue for a year and a half now that has been bothering me and I've pretty much tried everything.

I'm uncut and under the foreskin on the left side only, the skin close to the frenulum is a bit red. It never goes away and is a bit brighter after masturbating (I used to do it without lube before it appeared, now I'm not doing that anymore) or even just when waking up in the morning.

Back in 2018 I've tried anti fungal cream for a few weeks but it hasn't changed anything, I've also tested negative for sexually transmitted diseases. I've also tried two dermo corticoids creams (the dermatologist has been giving me that and a few creams to "repair skin" for what he said is a posthitis) and even though I believe it helped reduce the redness a bit, it never fully disappeared. I've gone periods of weeks without masturbating but it's still here.

The thing is right now I'm becoming paranoid about that and everytime I notice the skin is becoming a bit red (could be for no reason, just the humidity or the temperature inside the house) I start panicking, wondering if the color is normal or not. I don't even know if it's normal for the foreskin to be a bit red after masturbation.

As anybody experienced something like that ? It's not spreading and it's not really painful in my daily life but it's annoying. Thanks and take care !

I'm going through this as well. Only the left and right side of my inner foreskin is red. I've tried anti fungal cream as well. Do you have a discharge or any smell?

No, nothing really weird, it's just red and it can get worse from time to time. I've also stopped using anything too irritating like soap but not effective

For penile skin that is irritated like this you would need to abstain from masturbation for at least 3 to 4 months before you see any real benefit.

Also, related to this, if you are sexually aroused, produce pre-ejaculate, and following actual ejaculation do you do a full clean up afterwards? This can be tricky as semen and pre-ejaculate is often released for some hours after arousal or ejaculation ... !

How do you clean your penis? In the shower do you put soap and shower gel or other body wash on your penile skin ..... ?

I'm now only cleaning my penis using water, I haven't been using anything containing soap for the past 6 months and I do clean it with water too after ejaculation, first to take of the lube but also to make sure nothing stays there.

Also I've noticed that sometimes for NO REASON it get worse, like this morning when waking up, the bright red part was on a wider part of the foreskin when I did absolutely nothing yesterday and it was ok yesterday night before sleeping. I wonder if this could be an effect of stopping the steroid cream but I have no explanation for that.

Have you found a solution yet? I have almost the exact same problem. Have tried 3 different creams from the doctor, avoided using soap, patted it dry with a towel, avoided sex or masturbation, tried antibiotics but it doesn't make any difference.
