Reduction

hello hope youre all well.

i have recently reduced citalopram from 20mg to 10mg increased anxiety started within days.

my question is how long is this likely to last? its not the same as my original anxiety its more like an internal restless that causes me to breath faster and become dizzy. no triggers but its usually worse when im at work.

Thank you

    Hi Lorraine

I'm weaning down from 20mg and am currently on 5mg... The anxiety, dizziness and fatigue has been on going since i started citalopram back in January, that's why I'm weaning off them but its a slow process... I'm entering my 6th week on 5mg which I'm cutting from 10 mg and I'm not due to fnish my course til mid november

im glad you are doing well 😃 im okay but still with side affects, i find myself getting angry quickly and i feel stress a lot easier now, i guess that the citalopram used to numb such emtoions 😦 i sleep so much better since reducing though so its swings and roundabouts at the mo.
