I've been to see my go and she is referring me for a gastric bypass what will be the next step. feel a bit better now I've got the ball rolling

Your doctor will order mental and physical testing for you to make sure you are totally on board with this in every way. This is a life altering change not only for your body but also for you the person. Your stomach will only hold about a fist full of food at a time. You will have to take vitamins and supplements to keep your GI tract healthy. Your portions will be minimal and you can no longer eat junk food again. Meals are really going to be a challenge as you have to eat what is limited to your meal plan. You must be absolutely sure that this is what you want and and that you are willing to follow with this plan for the rest of your life. You must also let your doctor know of any health issues you may have after this bypass, no matter how small you may think they are. I wish you all the luck. Just stay true and steady and you will be fine.
