How long does Omoprazole take to start working,my son has just started taking it, he has been throwing up since Saturday.,after several phone diagnoses from doctors, a walk in medical centre telling us he had Hep A, without even doing any bloods, now a doctor today saying reflux is the problem, he is still being very sick, he has eaten nothing since Saturday.

Tinx65, My daughter was taking Famotidine and she didn't find releive from the nause while taking the pill. My daughter was with nausea every day for months. He should be eating very often-small amount of food . I strongly recomend you to follow the Innes diet in this discussion because it helped my daughter with some releive of her sympstoms while we found a doctor to see her. Take him to a gastro doctor. Doctor performed a endoscopy on my daughter and she had an ulcer. Now she is on the medicine Omeprazole and Carafate and she got better since the first couple of days taking them.
