Reflux and heartburn after gallbladder surgery

Has anyone suffer or has suffered from bad chest pain with heartburn after gallbladder removal? Iam eating a very low fat diet, in fact no fat at all, and I still get most times pain in chest with burning. I would like to hear from anybody that has the same and if anything helped to treat it beside PPIs.they don't work for me. I am really worried because it might be damaging my esophagus and throat is sore from the reflux.
has anyone was told by doctors that it might be just a symptom until the body adjusts to not having gallbladder and that's why medication doesn't work? Please share your thoughts and experiences. I am worried and confused why my body started having reflux issues after this surgery.

I've had my gallbladder out for 3 years and I'm still having heartburn issues. I never had them before until i had it removed. now it doesn't seem what I eat, I'll end up in pain and have to take tums just to take the edge off. I've talked to my gastro and it's just something I'll have to live with.

It doesn't seem right that you must learn to live like this. I'm due supposedly to have my gallbladder out next week and after reading so much on this board it really is hitting me what a crap shoot the surgery is. Some say it's the best thing that they did and just as many seem to suffer ongoing ailments since the surgery.
I'm wondering if you ever considered fasting?
After I have surgery I feel I'm going to continue eating very little, it will be healthy but very little and I will try fasting. So many doctors tell patients you can eat whatever you want after surgery but they do a great disservice. The gallbladder is no joke...
Please keep investigating and don't settle for living in discomfort after all you been through.
