Not sure if this is the right group, I'm really struggling with regurgitation , my endoscopy showed gastritis and I'm waiting for 24 hour myometry. I'm currently taking omeprazole 40mg. I have no pain just regurgitate food and drinks. Has anyone had a diagnosis as to what is causing this .

Hi rose I have gastritis diagnosed last year I did have dull ache pain under my rib on left side same side at the upper back I was on ppi s at first they helped but then they made it worst bcs I was getting g more pain so I'm not taking them anymore with pain I got burping issue I do burp a lot ...cause for gastritis they don't know in my case I believe its my auto immune thyroid disease caused it bcs I never had any issue before stomach issue started after I was diagnosed with thyroid problem...but some non steroids anti inflammatory drugs they cause it too ..another thing is h pylori bacteria that can cause it too ....samy
