Relapse/recovery reassurance

Hi there, I am 19 years old and have been suffering from EBV for the past 2-3 months. With my first year of Uni just around the corner and covid-19 restrictions finally being lifted after 18 months, I am at war with myself now suffering from anxiety that i will never get my energy and strength back and enjoy life like normal. Like many people say, the recovery process is like a "zig zag" and I have found that to be very true. I am just wondering where returning back to work falls within this zig zag timeline and if work is inserted too soon, might I be at risk of a relapse?

I have good days and bad days like most of us do and want to ensure i am doing everything in my power to get better before mid September. Can anyone tell me whether working two days a week is going to set me back or whether this 5 hour shift of exercise is actually good for my recovery? I am just wondering because i have woken up today after my first weekend back at work for a month and a half and am feeling one of my bad days and am worried its because of this? Any info about recovery and relapse would be greatly appreciated! Also some support on how to battle the anxiety of "not knowing what to do and what not to do at the risk of being set back" would be great. - Thanks!! 😃

As long as you get plenty of rest/sleep its ok. Take vit C/d and try not to drink alcohol until mono is kicked.
