Relief is possible

I was diagnosed with LS two weeks ago by gyno after having biopsy. I was in severe pain with intense itch.

She prescribed Clob ointment and an over the counter pain and itch relief cream with 4% lidocaine. The Clob has reduced my symptoms greatly. The over the counter cream provided much needed relief from the severe pain and itch and allowed me to sleep at night. I bought the Walgreens brand, but I think Gold Bond makes a similar product. I used the cream throughout the day and at bedtime. It only lasts 2-3 hours before needing to be reapplied. But, a definite life saver. Today, I only applied it once and hopefully will get to the place where I will no longer need it. I hope this info will help others deal with the pain and itch.
