Remedies for BV?

So for the past year, every single time after my period is over there is a monstrous odor. I honestly can't tolerate it but it'll subside and once my period is over...there's a smell again. I'm not entirely sure if I would describe it as fishy but it does linger. I don't experience any discharge, itchiness or anything else. It's just a very strong odor. What I've been doing is taking metronidozale but I can never finish the whole 14 count because between days 11-14 my body starts to feel extremely nauseous and will not take it. I've taken tests for both STD's and STIs. I tested negative for BV, yeast, amongst other things. I'm still pretty certain it's BV as the smell goes away once I start the metronidozale (which when this first happened I was taking because of a gum infection I had at the same time as my first encounter of BV). Any suggestions? I'd like an alternative solution that doesn't make me sick.

You could try Boric Acid and probiotics. You definitely need probiotics if you constantly take antibiotics!the vagina is acidic and antibiotics kills off good bacteria and blood is basic. those could be triggering the bad smell. antibiotics may be keeping you in that cycle of smells amd nausea that you can't seem to get out of. Boric acid worked for me! I only needed to use it about 3 times. now I use every once in a while.
