I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer of my whole thyroid almost 3 years ago. I had it removed an have been treated regularly to have my levels regulated on levothroxin . I had my procedure an all my treatments at one of the most recommended cancer hospitals. But i recently noticed that my temper is getting worse an worse. I have violent out breaks, anger, depression, nervousness , angry rages. And I never used to be like this untill i had my thyroid removed.... Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You might want to try a mild sedative like Atavan, which your doctor can prescribe.

What age are you? Could you be peri menopausal?

I am not sure which country you are in, but you could also be overmethylated which would make sense after thyroid removal. Rather than covering things up with another drug, get to the cause of your issues and work from there.

    Hi

I had mine removed 4 years ago and have turned into a monster I agree that more drugs is not the answer. I am 60 and think menopause could be the problem I am using a menopause magnet which helps me you can buy them online.  If you are younger a vitamin may help.

What are your levothyroxine dose, weight, and values for your last thyroid labwork?
