Reoccurance of pain after 2 weeks

I stepped in a hole on 5/21/17 and have a spiral break in my fibula, but not completely through. Also, broke the 2 and 3 foot bones. I was in a hard cast for 4 1/2 weeks and have been in a walking boot for 3 weeks. Doctor said to FWB immedately and to take it off at night and to shower. I had no pain at all after about a week, except for the foot breaks. The ankle was great. Yesterday afternoon, while walking I started having shooting pains in the broken bones in my ankle. It's tender today and throbbing a little. It doesn't hurt to walk on and is not swollen anymore than normal. Is this something to worry about? Could it be a tendon over that area that's waking up? Has anyone else had this for no reason?

    Hmm I'm not sure, but if the pain happens again I would talk to your doctor. Were you doing more activity than normal?

      Thank you. No I had actually done less that day than I had been doing. I've had the pains one other time since then. I see my OS Wednesday, and I'll certainly tell him about it.
