Reoccuring Bartholin cyst for 6 years

So i've been getting the cyst every 3 months for the last 6 years. I'm 23 now and i've had it drained multiple times and have had a marsupilization atleast twice. Me and a few obgyn's can't seem to figure out why i keep getting the cyst so often even with the drainage. They have suggested i get the glad removed, kinda like a labiaplasty in a way. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, does anyone have any at home remedies to help with the pain besides soaking and pain meds?

    I had reoccurring cysts for 4 years. My Dr told me that the gland is so small that once it's damaged, the cysts will continue to occur. I had the gland and cyst surgically removed on September 26. The first two weeks were rough but so far it's been the best decision I have made.

      How long was your recovery? And how long do you have to wait to have sex?

      5 or 6 weeks. The first few times hurt a little but after that it's wasn't any different than before.

    I got the gland removed! I wanted a permanent relief. The first few days I was in pain but now I am ok n cyst free.
