Reoccurring bartholin cyst

Hi all, looking for some help! about a year ago I had my first bartholin cyst flare up, it might have been an abcess. saw my obgyn and she advised home treatment and a few days later it burst and healed. for the last year a few days before or into my period, it swells up and is extremely painful for 4 or 5, even 6 days. has anyone else had it happen almost every month?? sometimes home remedies take care of it and sometimes i just have to wait it out. i don't know it i should have it removed all together on that side or do a catheter or the marsuperation. I just want a permanent fix 😔😔 any helpful ideas? does this happen to anyone else?

    Hi

    I have experienced these annoying and painful cysts for years. Some worse than others on many occasions especially when they turn into abcesses.

    i know how painful they can be as Ive had these flare ups so many times . Dr recommends to remove the whole gland to stop the occocurence of these. having surgery soon.

    I would talk to your gyno in having the whole gland removed if it persists
