Reoccurring ovarian cysts

Has anyone experienced reoccurring ovarian cysts that are painful. This has been going on for 4 years. I only have one ovary and currently have 2 cysts. They want to remove the ovary.

I am really sorry to hear this. I have recently had a extremely large cyst removed and an ovary ... So there is panic at the back of my head about it happening again

Yes. Every couple of months I get one that ruptures. Currently have one on my right ovary.

I’ve started a ketogenic diet, cut out caffeine and limit alcohol. I also take iodine as an iodine definitely can cause cystic breasts and ovarian cysts.

Do you ever have them rupture? How big is the cyst on your ovary currently?

I don't understand why they didn't remove the ovary cause they removed my ovary and tube how old are u and i know the resend why they didn't remove it is cause of the estrogen in our body that is what my gyn told me cause i wanted them to remove the other ovary so i don't have to go through with it again

I have factor V and got a blood clot in my lungs after birth control to suppress ovulation. They kept it for hormone because I can’t do hrt with the blood clot disorder. After removal of my left ovary it stopped for a little over a year. I didn’t feel like I was ovulating. Now it’s started again. Every single month. I’m going to talk to an endocrinology to see if it could be hormonal imbalance and talk to hemotologist to talk as well before I have the surgery. I’m 39
