Reoccurring upper abdomen pain

38 ive been having upper abdomen pain that comes and goes for the past few weeks. I've never had any issues in the past. it first started suddenly and I felt really bloated low grade fever and sharp pains in upper left. it hurt worse when I bent over,strained to pass gas or burp. after a few days it went away then a couple weeks later it came back not as severe tho,then went away again. I took some leftover amoxocillin and it seemed to help. I absolutely despise hospital's and doctors and usually won't go unless I think I'm dying. has anyone had anything simular to this? I should probably add i exercise daily and have lost 65 lbs in the past 2 years.
