Reoccurring yeast infection??

I started getting a general discomfort in vaginal area in mid June, did a phone appointment w/ DR and he prescribed one dose of Fluconazole and also prescribed meds for BV as he was not sure what it could be since it was phone appt. symptoms did not go away so i called appt line to try and get an in person gyno appt but there was notning available. i did have a nurse call and had me go in last week for a vaginal swab test where it was positive for yeast, she gave me two doses of fluconazole but the symptoms still have not gotten better. ive also noticed that there is a strong smell, almost reminds me of garlic yet still has that yeast like smell and the top of my vulva has become white when its never been like that. ive also noticed the strong smell is normally more present after i have urinated. would this possible be something different from a yeast infection?

back story: ive been with the same partner for 7 years now and we have not been involved with anyone else. ive also had a yeast infection at the beginning of the year that i treated with otc meds and that started when i had Covid.

i do also get bladder infections frequently and don't know ig that could also add to issue?

Hi, i believe you may have had BV and it did not clear up. Yeast infections normally are more yeast smelling discharge and BV tend to be stronger and fishy. Do you have a picture of how it is looking white ? Could be due to the antibiotics you were prescribed if you were given some to treat the BV originally.
