Resection with confirmed cancer and high PSA.

Posted , 1 user is following.

Anyone here been through that. I am scheduled for resection in five days with a PSA OF 49, and a biopsy with several positive cores, including one at a GLEASON 9. Fortunately, my cancer is still localized.

I am 63, and I'm in stage 4 kidney failure after having had urine backed up into the kidneys without knowing it. Trending in the right direction after 18 days in the hospital.

I am a little worried this procedure is happening while my creatinine is still 3.87, and wondering if my side effects will be even worse than guys who are having resections with otherwise good health, or just with BPH.

THANKS for your comments.
