restless leg syndrome

Well, it's 4am and just getting rid of a session of restless leg, god I hate it, I get it everywhere, legs, arms and it makes me feel that I cannot sit still, I have to move about, I'm kicking my legs about and punching the air, it drives me crazy, while I'm sat here writting this, it's sending spazoms down my legs and through my arms, its taken me about 30 minutes to write this much. It's something thats hard to explain unless you suffer from it, get this now about once a week, medication has helped, from 4 times aweek to once, does anyone else get this and this bad. I would like to know what you do when you get it and how it effects you. Thanks.

I read the best thing for this is for us to get up and move...Yes, I have struggled with it...and it is the oddest feeling...hard to put into words. You did a pretty good job.

I noticed it happens most days when I have been stressed out.  I'm wondering if we are tensing these muscles...and then they go crazy when they are at a relaxation state sad

I have always thought it feels like a stretch you can never finish always stuck halfway through.

Oh yes I know just wat you are going through, I have had it now for over 20 years. My Meds are 150mg Pregoballin and Ropinirole 2mg, I find this works well most of the time.

Hi, it is a really unpleasant condition, when I first got it there was no medication prescribed for it and I hardly slept.
