Restless legs/ whole body fidgety

i never had trouble sleeping but since I've had a new hip replacement recently I just don't sleep. The urge to move my legs is constant. Then comes the urge to keep moving my entire body. I sit up, walk, lie back down, get up, move iponto a recliner chair, legs start that horrid crawly twitching sensatiion so get off recliner, make a cup of tea, go back into the cold bedroom This goes on all night. Doc given me zopliclone and diazepam but it doesn't work.

    Are you on any other medication that could cause this like pain killers ?

      Oh it’s sorted now thank you. The doctor prescribed something for restless legs and it’s worked thank heavens!
