So i suddenly felt a feeling of anxiousness like little ants crawling on my legs and I got a flush of coldness in my body any ideas of what it could be?

What were you doing when this happened, has it happened to you in the past or was this the first?

Hi Stephanie,
I've noticed you've posted a few posts lately and i'm sorry that you are suffering at the moment with anxiety.
Your recent symptoms to me sound perfectly in line with anxiety and are very common. When i have a panic attack (which can occur for no reason sometimes) i get hot/cold flushes and that feeling of dread/tingling/pins and needles sensation, sometimes accompanied by dizzyness, palpitations and nausea or sometimes a mix of these.
It's all connected to our autonomic nervous system. This is split into 3 main 'branches' and depending on which is stimulated will determine how our body reacts, but in short its due to our fight/flight response. Our body, for whatever unique reason it seems to randomly decide it, has interpreted what it thinks is a possible threat and so reacts accordingly.
Of course your gp is the only person medically trained/able to confirm, but based on my experience with anxiety it doesn't sound like anything to be concerned about. If you start getting to the point you feel it's impacting on daily activities, speak to your gp.
