Hi everyone

I hope it's ok to post my results, am just wondering if anyone else as had this type of thing and if so you would like to share your story from scan's to diagnosis.

This is the findings from my Whole Spine MRI Scan.

Findings: the vertebral bodies are of normal height, signal

intensity and alignment. The canal is capacious throughout.

The lower cord and conus are normal. At L4-5 and L5-S1 the

disc is slightly dehydrated with minimal loss of height. At

L5-S1 there is a left lateral and far lateral disc bulge

extending out through the exit foramen which is mildly

compressing the transiting left S1 nerve root but not the

exiting L5 nerve root.

      Hi Sar2017

My main problems all down the left hand side, I always have numbness and tingling down my arm and left side of face and lower back and left leg, and sometimes right leg. I've learnt to live with and manage my pain, as I don't really want the op as one of my old doctors told me years ago, that if I could put up with the pain not too go for it, as I could end up in a wheelchair, but if I have to have one now, it may be time to consider it, as I really don't want to have a wheelchair, but will if I have too haha.

I am also currently being investigated for MS and also had an MRI of my brain, (hope they found one haha.)

It does look as though it could well be the start from the brain scan as it showe a few spots of white matter what ever that is 😕

I hope you are doing ok too Sar xxx
