Retinal tear laser and always feeling off

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi All,

I've had 5 laser treatments on my right eye for 7 retinal tears in the last 3 months. I am struggling mentally with the after effects, my pupil is slightly larger than the other one, I have pain often on the outside of my eye my vision feels like its different everyday (in both eyes). I had a scare the other day when i thought i saw new floaters, went in to get it checked, and they said all looked good - no new tears and they didn't have an answer about my eye pain. I was experiencing excruciating headaches for weeks but they finally subsided a bit. My IOP was 20 and they said it was within normal range

my main question is how is everyone who has gone through this coping or adjusting? My eye always feels tight every morning and it takes a bit for the blurriness to go away.

This eye issue came out of nowhere and I feel like it has taken a toll on me and i can't adjust to the vision changes, flickering zig zag lights, etc
